Phuket 0 - 0 Swat Cats @ Surakul Stadium, Phuket

Nakhon Ratchasima Mazda FC remain on top of the Thai Yamaha Division 1 with just 7 games to go until the end of the season. The Swat Cats played away in Phuket on Sunday evening, securing a 0-0 draw to keep alive the hope of gaining promotion to the Thai Premier League for the first time in the history of the club.

After a superb few weeks, it seems that anything less than a draw is insufficient, but a draw put the Swat Cats 8 points clear at the top with just 7 games left.

We hope the boys can do it.

Korat Swat Cats midfielder and 2012 African Cup of Nations winner (with Zambia) Noah Chivuta sent What's On Korat a message from the team before the game, saying, "I would just ask the fans to put in their prayers, because Phuket is far so we know they can't all make it there. We need their support more than ever as we are so near to winning the league. And as a team, we will do our best in the game and try by all means to win. We are so near to making history in Korat football, and it is all because of the support we get from the beautiful Orange Fan Club."

If you haven't seen Noah take the Ice Bucket challenge yet, you can see it right here on WOK. Maybe he doesn't like the fans as much since we challenged him to take the challenge ;)
