Seriwat Kansura Off-licence

This is a real find right in the middle of Korat town centre. It offers a huge selection of alcoholic beverages including imported beers, wines, cider and spirits.

The shop has been around for over 30 years as a one unit off-licence, but it opened into a larger 3 unit store in 2014. It now offers a unique variety of drinks and due to the fact that it does a lot of wholesaling is open during the 2:00pm - 5:00pm slot where other liquor stores close.

Beers on offer:

London Pride (24 x 330ml) = 1,920 Baht

Leffe (24 x 330ml) = 3,000 Baht

Paulaner Dark or Light (20 x 500ml) = 2,800 Baht

Stella Artois (24 x 330ml) = 2,880 Baht

Hoegaarden (24 x 330ml) = 2,880 Baht

Hoegaarden (6 x 750ml) = 1,590 Baht

Budweiser (24 x 330ml) = 1,680 Baht

Erdinger (12 x 500ml) = 1,680 Baht

Fruli = 145 Baht per bottle

Paulaner = 1,500 Baht for a 5 litre keg

Other drinks of note:

Jameson

Cointreau

Bailey's

Amaretto

Tullamore Dew

The lady who runs the place (Pee Lek) speaks English well and her son is very helpful when he is around. They provide many of the bars in Korat with the imported stuff, so the prices tend to be by the case, although it is possible to buy by the bottle (and it doesn't cost much more).
