Football Attendances @ Swat Cats

The Korat Swat Cats are getting more and more popular and the attendances at home games is increasing all the time, but did you know that they have the record attendance for a home game this season? They are right up there with Buriram as the most supported team in the country!

If you haven't been to the King's Stadium for a home game this season, get down there and see what a great atmosphere there is. It's a fun day out.

As you can see in the graph, Swat Cats home match against Army FC had an attendance of 21,122, which is the highest in the Thai Premier League and pips Buriram (17,812) to the top spot. Pretty impressive for a team that is only in their first season in the Premier League in the history of the club.

Considering many people turn up late and aren't even counted, the actual attendance is likely to be higher than the official number we have been given.

Crowds at Swat Cats are therefore comparable to most Championship clubs and figures would have them in 17th place in the British Premier League attendance table for 2014-15 season, above QPR, Burnley and Swansea. Go Swat Cats!

Buriram still have the highest aggregate attendance in the league, with Nakhon Ratchasima Mazda FC in second place.
