Chicken Tikka Massala @ Korat Chef

If you’re looking for a home-made curry in Korat, there aren’t too many options, but Korat Chef have a fantastic selection and even make their own naan breads and sundries.

The chicken tikka comes in a large 300g portion and I had a garlic naan bread with it along with a couple of vegetable samosas. A big feed for a big boy. The curry has a rich gravy and uses over 20 ingredients to get a superb blend of herbs and spices. The meat was cooked, but still tender, and all chicken breast. I love naan breads, and the garlic naan was a real treat. Great way to get back to eating with my fingers! Samosas are always a winner, and these were no different. A strong flavour and a big filling. Chicken samosas are also available.

Korat chef provides mainly frozen foods, that can be heated up by microwave or oven, for home consumption. I instead chose to eat in the shop front and have my food heated up there. Great place to sit in air con and watch the world go by, and you might even bump into that person you know, but have only seen a couple of times out in Jor Hor?!

The rest of Korat Chef’s menu is comprehensive and you’ll no doubt leave with a bag of sausages and a few other bits and bobs. Enjoy. EZ
