Refill your gas @ The Gas Shop

If you are in the middle of cooking a meal and your gas runs out, it really is quite infuriating. Where did you put the number for the guy who brought the gas over last time you ordered it? Did he even give it to you? Did they deliver or did you have to go and pick it up. It was so long ago, I can't remember!

I looked all over town for a gas shop and eventually came by this tiny corner kiosk that barely looks open most of the time. You are best to just call them and see if they can deliver it to your door than try and catch them waiting in the shop as they are busy bees and most of the time there is no one there.

They open early in the morning and close at 7pm I am told, though I don't know how strict they are with their times. A refill on your gas tank will be 240 - 385 Baht for the normal size tanks (7kg - 15kg). The smallest tank is 160 Baht for 4kg and the largest is enormous at 48kg costing a whopping 1130 Baht.

See the picture to the right for the prices. If you are getting a gas canister for the first time, you will need to buy the tank too (or put the deposit down for it) which will cost between 1000-2000 Baht or so.

Open: 7am - 7pm
