Satay Sticks @ The Corner by the Temple

Satay is a dish of seasoned, skewered and grilled meat, served with a peanut sauce originating from Malaysia, and very popular in Thailand. There are lots of little satay stands all over Korat, but it can be difficult to track them down as they are dotted about so randomly.

One such spot is on the corner of Yotha and Pho Klang Road near a block down from Korat Chef and The George & Dragon. There's a big corner restaurant that does noodles and the like, and some stalls that serve other bits and bobs including excellent satay sticks. 10 sticks for 50 baht.

They are bbq'd on a small grill and served with hot peanut sauce and a sour vinegary cucumber salad. It's open for lunch but you are expected to take away.

Address: Corner of Yotha and Pho Klang Road, Nai Muang, Korat
