The Sons Of Sultan @ Suwan Sanook

Suwan Sanook has undergone some major changes over the last year, new ownership has seen many improvements most noticeably the new roof, which means it's now a great place to go regardless of the weather.

It still has its bohemian style, nothing much matches but over all, it all does, which is nice. The food is still enjoyable and they now sell all a full beer selection. It used to be a Chang venue so if you didn't like Chang you were a bit buggered, but you can now enjoy any beer you desire.

There is always a good crowd in whatever the night of the week it is, so if your bored of sitting in a farang bar with only two other people to talk to, get adventurous and check Suwan Sanook out. They have live music every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Saturday is normally a very busy night and it features the excellent The Sons Of Sultan. A four or five piece depending on the evening featuring Nat who rose to fame from being a finalist on Season 5 of The Voice Thailand on vocals, accompanied by some of the best, if not the best musicians you'll find anywhere in the city. They play a selection of English language and Thai covers with a few great original songs thrown in for variety. They perform from around 10:00pm to around midnight.

If your looking for some great entertainment, in a venue that most farang don't go to that often but should, then check out The Sons of Sultan at Suwan Sanook, I guarantee you have a great night, enjoy!
